· The Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis – The New Cathedral is a revered house of worship and a local landmark.
In the vestibule mosaics depict the life of Catholic patron, Saint Louis IX, King of France, and provide the visitor
with their first hint of the world famous mosaic beauty in the spectacular main body of the church.

SALONS
· Dominic Michael, considered by most Claytonian women to be “the best,” is only three blocks away
SHOPPING
· Go to the St. Louis Galleria or the even more upscale Plaza Frontenac or the pragmatic and domestic shops
at Brentwood Square and the Promenade. Also, the new Boulevard-St. Louis "urban designed" upscale shopping
destination features St. Louis' first Crate & Barrel. It is located across Brentwood Boulevard from The Galleria.
· Soulard Market and Historical Neighborhood – Soulard Farmer's Market was created when Julia Cerre
Soulard donated two undeveloped half-blocks of her real estate for use as a public market, in perpetuity, to the
city of St. Louis in the year 1838. Now partly enclosed, partly open air, this farmer’s market is still an
active and vital part of the area’s business and social communities.
